DevTalk auto-retweet criteria

This article describes the criteria for Lemon's twitter account to retweet a given tweet. ALL of the criteria on this page must be met in order for a retweet to occur. The list of criteria on this page was accurate as of June 18th, 2022.

Trigger Tags

A tweet must contain one or more of the following tags or sets of tags in order to be retweeted:

Blocked Phrases

If a tweet contains ANY of these phrases, it will not be retweeted.

Other Requirements

If a Twitter account is less than 2 weeks old, or has fewer than 10 followers, its tweets will not be retweeted.

Lemon will only retweet once per account per day.

Tweets which use more than 6 hashtags will not be retweeted.

Troubleshooting

If you're not sure why your tweet didn't get retweeted, you can take a look at the Bot Thoughts channel to see if Lemon posted her reason. If you would like a tweet retweeted, but it did not happen automatically, you can send it in the On Topic channel and ask for it to be manually retweeted. A moderator or Star can choose to retweet it for you. Please do not ping folks to ask for retweets.
