The Velox series of visual novel jams is a group of three short-duration, recurring, ranked visual novel jams, inspired by Ludum Dare. It includes Velox Fabula, Velox Turbo, and Velox Formido. Each iteration has a different theme, which is selected by a community vote.

Iterations & History
The Velox series has three different versions/component jams:
- Velox Fabula: The original Velox jam. It lasts for 10 days and occurs in August. The first iteration occurred in 2023. The name means "Quick Story".
- Velox Turbo: A four-day jam that occurs in December. Its first iteration occurred in 2023.
- Velox Formido: A two-day jam that occurs in August. Its first iteration was in 2024.
Each iteration has one or more themes that submissions are required to include. Themes are decided by a community vote, and are announced when the jam begins. Historical themes are as follows:
- Velox Fabula: Unreliable narrator
- Velox Turbo: Morally ambiguous promise
- Velox Formido: Enemies with benefits; flower symbolism; doomed by the narrative; trapped with someone; forbidden romance. (At least two of the five must be included.)
- Velox Fabula 2: You shouldn't be here
- Velox Turbo 2: The eye of the beholder
- Velox Formido 2: You're not them. This theme was revealed 9 hours into the 36-hour jam.
- Velox Fabula 3: Sentient City/Setting
- Velox Turbo 3: The world is ending, but I still have a job. Instead of occurring over four days, this iteration of Velox Turbo took place over nine days.
