This template easily renders an emoji at the desired size, including alt text, and is designed to be used within messages in Template:Chat.

{{emoji | NAME | SIZE}}

An emoji's name is the official name for it in the DevTalk Discord server. Names are case sensitive and match DevTalk's casing. Do not label the parameter name =; leave it unlabeled.

The size parameter is optional. Do not label the parameter size =; leave it unlabeled. Supported sizes are:

  • l or L for a "large" emoji. (In Discord, this is used when a message has between one and three emoji, and no other characters except spaces.)
  • s or S for a "small" emoji. Use only in conjunction with Template:Chat 's small size parameter.
  • xl or XL for an "extra large" emoji. These are not able to be conveniently used in normal Discord chatting, but are occasionally used in DevTalk daily message skits.
  • When no size is specified, the emoji will be a "regular" size, such as one might see in a standard Discord message that contains four or more emoji, or that contains text other than emoji.
