History
Remort Studios, LLC was founded in 2014, registered in New Castle County, Delaware by Stella. The company was originally founded with the intent of creating games and visual novels for sale on the open market, but has since shifted to providing services and support to visual novel developers in a B2B capacity.
'Remort' in the name
Remort is a term common to MUDs, or Multi-User Dungeons, where on a player character could return to level 1 from their current level, retaining things they learned or gained along the way. The term was used to emphasize the type of content the owners wanted to create, things that could allow you to experience another life, but better than before.
Previous publishing attempts
Remort Studios, LLC attempted to develop and publish a visual novel titled 'When The Shutter Stops.' After a failure to successfully run a crowdfunding campaign in 2018, and organizational issues following it, they cancelled the project until further notice.
