Jams are categorized under the month when the most recent edition of the jam began.

== Data Collection Methods & How to Interpret ==

The VNDev Wiki collects the officially visible participant and entry counts on the [[itch.io]] jam page, immediately after the jam is completed. Caveats for this data and information about the "participants/entry" statistic are available on the above reference page.

For the purposes of this list, a jam is considered discontinued if the next iteration has not occurred or been announced, and:
* It previously occurred annually, but has not occurred for at least one full calendar year.
* It has been announced to be discontinued or cancelled.
* It exceeds a Participants per Entry ratio of 50 in a given year
* It has 0 entries in a given year
